As part of the one of the commitments of the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC), in conjunction with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) to sponsor University Undergraduates in various University Disciplines, they hereby call on all qualified Nigerian Student from all Nigerian Universities, to apply for the NNPC/SNEPCO 2016 University Scholarship award programme which aims to improve accedemic excellence and also to improve skills of young Nigerian

WHO IS QUALIFIED TO APPLY

  •  candidate must be a Student in any Nigerian University
  • candidate must be currently in 200 Level in any Nigerian University
  • Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in a 5-grade system
  • Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship (National or International)
  • candidate must be in any of the under listed departments

Geophysics
Medicine
Petroleum Engineering
Geosciences/Geology
Economics
Physics/Applied Physics
Process Control Engineering
Pharmacy
Electrical Engineering

Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
Medical Laboratory Technology

HOW TO APPLY AND REQUIREMENT

Every applicant should have a valid personal email account (for consistent communication).
Candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria should apply online to provide the required personal and educational details, and upload scanned copies of the following:
1. A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant in JPEG format, and not more than 200kilobytes;
2. University orJAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission Letter; Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Scores;
3.  ‘0’ Level Result(s); and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) as applicable; and
4. Letter of Identification from State of origin indicating applicant’s local government of origin.
5. Students are to upload their 100 level results.

Candidates in other related departments are also advised to apply as they may be considered during shortlisting for the scholarship exam.

NOTE: Application should be submitted on or before August 10th as Screening Exercise will be on the 20th Of August 2016.
